RSS Feeds FAQ
What is RSS? RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for sharing and distributing Web content, such as news headlines. Using an RSS reader, you can view data feeds from various news sources, such as http://www.minnlawyer.com, including headlines, summaries, links to full stories. How do I access RSS feeds? RSS/News Aggregators (also called Readers) will download and display RSS feeds for you. Many aggregators are separate, "stand-alone" programs; other services will let you add RSS feeds to a Web page. A number of free and commercial News Aggregators are available for download. Terms of Use RSS (really simple syndication) service is a means by which wislawjournal.com offers feeds of story headlines in XML format ("RSS Content") to visitors who use RSS aggregators. These Terms of Use govern your use of the RSS service. These Terms of Use and the may be changed by the Minnesota Lawyer at any time without notice. Use of RSS Feeds RSS is a free service offered by Minnesota Lawyer for non-commercial use. You must use the RSS feeds as provided by the Minnesota Lawyer, and you may not edit or modify the text, content or links supplied by the Minnesota Lawyer. For web posting, reprint, transcript or licensing requests for Minnesota Lawyer material, please send your request to info@wislawjournal.com. Link to Content Pages The RSS service may be used only with those platforms from which a functional link is made available that, when accessed, takes the viewer directly to the display of the full article on the Minnesota Lawyer site. You may not display the RSS Content in a manner that does not permit successful linking to, redirection to or delivery of the applicable Minnesota Lawyer web page. You may not insert any intermediate page, splash page or other content between the RSS link and the applicable Minnesota Lawyer web page. Ownership/Attribution Minnesota Lawyer retains all ownership and other rights in the RSS Content, and any and all Minnesota Lawyer logos and trademarks used in connection with the RSS Service. You must provide attribution to the appropriate Minnesota Lawyer website in connection with your use of the RSS feeds. Right to Discontinue Feeds Minnesota Lawyer reserves the right to discontinue providing any or all of the RSS feeds at any time and to require you to cease displaying, distributing or otherwise using any or all of the RSS feeds for any reason including, without limitation, your violation of any provision of these Terms of Use.
